WINTER VINES IN DORMANCY

June, July and August in Chile are the months of winter.
After the fall of the leaves, the vines enter in anon vegetative period, characterized by the non growth of the buds.  At that stage, the vines are asleep, they are in dormancy.
All the nutritive reserves of the vines start moving from the branches to the trunk and the roots to be used in September at the beginning of the growth.
